What is the difference between testing and debugging?

    • #54509

Testing is performed by a testing team in order to find the bugs in the system. Whereas, debugging is an activity performed by the developers. In debugging the cause of the bug is located and fixed.

Other difference between the two is; testing can be done without any internal knowledge of software architecture. Whereas debugging needs knowledge of software architecture and coding.
