Hello,
Smart Objects are layers that contain image data from raster or vector images, such as Photoshop or Illustrator files.

Here I’ll tell you some points which may help you to create Smart Object in Photoshop CS6:

Select your desired layer in the Layers panel.
Choose Layer→Smart Objects→Convert to Smart Object. You can also select the command from the Layers panel menu. After you convert a layer into a Smart Object, you see the Smart Object icon in the lower-right corner of the layer thumbnail.
