I suggest being open to moving, as most states only have a few labs and you will most likely be applying to places in multiple states to get in. Once you get a few years experience, you will be eligible for senior scientist positions if you want to move.
Being willing to get the entry-level experience anywhere can help you to get a higher level position at a place you actually want to live in.</p> - AuthorPosts
