Can someone tell me about limitations of selenium web driver for automated testing?

Hello Chanchal,

Here are some of the limitations of selenium web driver:

– We can not test mobile apps & windows apps; we can test web-based application through selenium web driver.
– You can not generate a valuable report from selenium tests.
– Dynamic elements in website or web app are difficult to handle by selenium web driver.
– Use of dynamic drop-down causes a problem with Selenium script
– Windows-based pops are beyond selenium’s capabilities.
– Handling captcha with selenium web driver is also a limitation.
