Of course possible.
First of all, you need to know that there are many areas under the IoT parasol.
You can start with any of that and can shift from one to another if you want to understand the complete circle.
-Knows at least basics of C.
-Join an organization and do In-house development work.
– Do small projects on your own it’ll really help you to get an internship.
