What is the process to create increment and decrement statement in C?

Increment Operators are accustomed to increasing the value of the variable by one and Decrement Operators are utilized to decrease the value of the variable by one in C programs.
Both Increment and Decrement operator are utilized on a single operand or variable, so it is known as a unary operator.
There are two conceivable techniques to perform this task.
1) Use increment (++) and decrement (–) operator.
Example When x=5, x++ returns 6 and x– returns 4.2) Use conventional + or – sign.
Whenever x=5, use x+1 to get 6 and x-1 to get 4.
