    How to strip white space from the beginning and end of a string?

  • #52219

    Hello,

    The trim() function eliminates white spaces or other predefined characters from both sides of a string.

    Hello Richi,

    You can use trim function for Remove characters from both sides of a string (“He” in “Hello” and “d!” in “World”):

    Please see example as below.

    $str = “Hello World!”;
    echo $str . “<br>”;
    echo trim($str,”Hed!”);
