Hello,
You want to create a gradient in photoshop, here are the 7 easy steps which may help you to create a gradient in photoshop

1.Create the shape of your gradient with the selection tools
2.Select the gradient tool
3.Select the colors for your gradient using the two squares in the bottom right
4.Select the type of gradient you want
5. Click and hold to set the starting point of the gradient.
6. Move your mouse in the direction you want the gradient, then release.
7. Now Use gradients to create transitions anywhere
