What Is a Constant In C Language?

    • #54925

Constants point to fixed values that the program may not modify through its execution. These fixed values are also called literals.

A value which can’t be modified is known as constant value. Such variables are qualified with the keyword const.

Constants can be of any of the basic data types like an integer constant, a floating constant, a character constant, or a string literal.
