What is the difference between abs() and fabs() functions?

    • #50875

These 2 functions primarily perform the same action, which is to get the absolute value of the given value.

Abs() is used for integer values, while fabs() is used for floating type numbers.

features of Fabs():- slower, works only on floats, it will throw an exception if used on a different type
