In the Android platform, there are remote methods which expedite the use of methods from one program to another. To create and execute the remote methods the first step is to define communication interface in AIDL.

AIDL stands for Android Interface Definition Language. It helps the communication between the client and service. It also communicates the information through inter-process communication.

For communication between processes, the data is broken down into parts which are easily acceptable by the Android platform.
