Data science is a field which deals with the data and extracts knowledge from. Almost all the businesses are looking for data-driven decisions. So, if you are looking at the future of data science, you are in the right place. According to Harvard Business Data, science is considered as the closest job of the current century.
Where AI is kind of a problem-solving process, which enables software to perform tasks without specifically being processed. Also as found in the research by Accenture, more than 88% of businesses in India are expected to make easy to large investments in AI related technologies over the next few years.
I recommend, first, make a basic understanding in both the fields and decide to choose the one you are interested in.

A Data Scientist is a specialist who understands data from a business point of view. He is in the responsibility of making predictions to help businesses take accurate decisions. Data scientists come with a solid foundation of computer applications, modeling, statistics, and math.
– A Data Scientist can be divided into different roles, includes: Data Researcher, Data Developer, Data BusinessPeople
While Data Analysts perform a variety of tasks related to collecting, organizing data and obtaining statistical information out of them.
– A Data Analyst can also be divided into different roles: Database Administrators, Analytics Engineer
No matter how many differences are there between both the job titles, one cannot be successful without the other.
