Hello,
To create a 3D sphere with Photoshop spin here are some steps that you should follow:

Step 1: Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance and make sure Use Graphics Processor is checked on.

Step2: Create the 3D object, go to 3D > New Mesh from Layer > Mesh Preset and select Sphere

Step3: Click Yes when you get the message asking if you want to switch to the 3D workspace.

Try the above steps you can see the image window will display the ground plan & secondary view.
